Books that Hilma Weber authored

My writing is inspired by children.

I was born and raised in a small village in northern Namibia in Southern Africa. I currently live in Switzerland with my husband and our son.

I have a strong affinity for children’s literature, and the importance of early literacy skills. I write with the goal of ensuring that my books reach children in underprivileged backgrounds who may lack access to such resources.

In the past two years I have written four books as part of the Early Childhood Development Programme `Play for All` at Development Workshop Namibia. More than 50,000 copies were distributed free of charge to kindergartens, children, and their families across Namibia.

I am now a self-employed author and currently have a few books in production.

About me

Hilma Weber

My early career has been in the tourism sector in Namibia, where I worked for nearly 15 years and achieved a senior management position. With the birth of our son, I took the decision to become a stay home mom and start to engage in something different.
